"Soon" is a web application designed to solve the eternal struggle of choosing what to watch next. Built with Python and Flask, it provides users with personalized movie suggestions through an intuitive interface.

Ranking Algorithm

Unlike simple filtering tools, I designed and implemented a custom ranking algorithm from scratch. This logic scores and ranks titles based on user preferences and specific metadata, ensuring that the recommendations are relevant and tailored to the user's taste.

API Integration

To provide a rich visual experience, the application integrates with major third-party movie database APIs (TMDB/IMDb). This allows the system to fetch, process, and display real-time film data, including high-quality posters, detailed synopses, and current ratings, creating an engaging user experience.
